The oldest photograph of Chapultepec Castle, around 1850.
Deforestation resulting from the battle can still be seen on the hillside.
Following the Battle of Chapultepec on September 13, 1847, the facilities at Chapultepec Castle were severely damaged. After the U.S. Army withdrew, the building had to be vacated and remained abandoned until 1859, when its reconstruction began.

FROM SLRC Chief Trial Counsel Kirk D. Lyons

Join us for a special Webinar event sponsored by Defend Arlington, Save Southern Heritage Florida and Guardians of American History on Monday 28 SEP at 8PM Eastern online only $25 to attend online!!

I will be speaking on my firsthand knowledge of mine and the SLRCs unofficial publicists, the Southern Poverty Law Center, and its founder Morris Dees!

DON'T MISS IT!!

WE NEED HELP PLEASE SUPPORT

It ain't been a fun Summer. Donations are way down and we are in earnest prayer for relief. I would hate to shutter the SLRC, but I'm actually considering it. PLEASE consider a generous donation or even a monthly pledge. HELP KEEP US ALIVE! If the SLRC disappeared tomorrow, how would the gap in the battle line be filled? We want to remain at our post - but we desperately need AMMO!

NDAA YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO

Scuttlebutt from our Senate contacts; our calls and widget emails to remove Sec 356 from the Senate Version of the NDAA 2027 - seem to be working - but we shouldn't let up!

NDAA 2027 THERE IS STILL TIME TO ACT - SO PLEASE GET WITH IT
Call your Republican Senator 202-224-3121 and tell them to make sure Section 356 (a) is stripped out of the NDAA 2027 before they vote on the bill.

SEC. 356. NAMING OF CERTAIN ASSETS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE IN THE COMMONWEALTH OF VIRGINIA.
Naming of Assets in Virginia.- Not later than 30 days after the date of the enactment of this Act the Secretary of Defense shall implement the naming recommendations for assets of the Department of Defense in the Commonwealth of Virginia that were adopted by the Commission.
Suggested talking points
*America's 250th Birthday - time for unity - Supporting Naming commission recommendations is Unpatriotic
*SPLC was behind the naming commission - do you really want to vote to support those criminal monsters and their agenda?
* Secretary Hegseth promised to restore the Reconciliation Memorial to Arlington National Cemetery by 2027. Strip Section 356a from NDAA2027 so Hegseth can keep his promise without Demo-bolshevik obstruction!
