🦌 It’s that time of year! 🦌

It’s that time of year. With the cooler weather, Deer will be on the move more than normal. The Kay County Sheriff’s Office urges everyone to use caution and be attentive when traveling, especially after dark.

🩸 OUR BEST BLOOD DRIVE TO DATE! 🩸
A huge thank you to everyone who participated in our recent blood drive on Thursday, October 1st with Our Blood Institute.

We set a goal of 14 donors and were thrilled to welcome 24 donors, resulting in 22 successful donations!
🩸 30 blood products were added to the lifesaving blood supply.
❤️ Those donations have the potential to save up to 90 lives.

Thank you for helping make a difference and for continuing to show what it means to support your community. We are grateful for our partnership with OBI and look forward to hosting another successful blood drive in the future!

💡 Happy National Co-op Month 💡

Built for this moment — What makes cooperatives different?

People helping people.

Recently, our KEC employees stopped to lend a hand to a driver who was having trouble with their truck and needed help getting it moved out of the way. It may have been a small moment, but it represents something much bigger—the cooperative spirit.

Cooperatives are rooted in people working together for the good of their communities. Every day, co-ops like KEC work to strengthen the communities we serve, improve the lives of our members and neighbors, and be there when a helping hand is needed.

We’re proud to be a cooperative—and we’re proud of the people who make that possible every day. 💙

That’s what makes a co-op different. That’s what makes us community.
