New Jersey ANCHOR property tax relief payments have started going out to eligible residents.

The ANCHOR program provides property tax relief to qualifying New Jersey homeowners and renters. For the 2025 benefit year, homeowners with a New Jersey gross income of $250,000 or less and renters with an income of $150,000 or less may be eligible.

If you already filed or were automatically enrolled, you can check the status of your payment here: https://propertytaxreliefstatus.nj.gov/

If you have not yet applied, there is still time. The deadline to apply for the 2025 ANCHOR benefit is November 2, 2026.

Join REV UP NJ and the Centers for Independent Living on October 5th in Trenton for an important Disability Rights Rally bringing together people with disabilities, families, advocates, organizations, and allies from across New Jersey.

This is an important time for the disability community to come together in solidarity. People with disabilities are facing significant challenges on the federal level that could affect civil rights, access to home and community supports, health care, and other protections that people with disabilities have fought for over many years.

Our rights cannot be taken for granted. This rally is an opportunity to come together, be visible, learn about the issues affecting our community, and remind our elected officials that disability rights are civil rights.
