Blades Volunteer Fire Company is proud to announce that we have officially signed a contract for a new ambulance!

This important purchase was made possible through a new initiative by Sussex County Government, designed to help support local fire companies by providing a new ambulance every seven years. This program represents a tremendous investment in our emergency services and the safety of the communities we proudly serve. This initiative was lead by the Sussex County Volunteer Firefighters Association.

We are incredibly grateful to Sussex County Government for this initiative and for their continued commitment to supporting our first responders. We also extend our sincere appreciation to Atlantic Emergency Solutions Jeff Hill for their partnership and support throughout this process.

This new ambulance will help us continue providing reliable, high-quality emergency medical services to the residents and visitors of our community.

Thank you to everyone who helps make our mission possible. We look forward to sharing more updates as we move closer to putting our new ambulance into service!
