Very proud to be partners with Rio Grande Hospital in Del Norte, Colorado!

I like how this place refuses to act small. It offers MRI scans, CT scans, outpatient surgery, and even hyperbaric oxygen therapy. That lineup sounds like a city medical campus, not a rural Colorado hospital.

🚁 MEET THE TEAM 🚁

Meet Miguelangel Holguin, the newest member of our Del Norte team! Miguel brings experience in flight medicine, leadership, and military service, and is even currently serving as a Flight Medic with the Colorado National Guard.

A former “Saint DUSTOFF” from C Company, 7-158th, he brings a humble, can-do attitude and a passion for becoming an excellent clinician. During his first week, he jumped right in and even transported his first ventilated patient.

We’re excited to have Miguel on the team and can’t wait to see what’s ahead!

TJ (Eagle Air Med Base Manager Del Norte Fixed-Wing) recently completed his first hitch on the rotor. In the San Luis Valley there has been an emphasis on cross training between rotor wing and fixed wing airframes in an effort to enhance coordination, improve communication and create a stronger sense of unity across disciplines. This synergy allows us to better support one another, adapt to transport demands and continue delivering safe, efficient, high-quality care to the patients and communities we serve.
