UPDATE; BOIL ORDER HAS BEEN LIFTED 10/11/26.
Due to a water main break, Eastern Heights Utilities Inc. has issued a boil order for the city limits of Bloomfield. See the attached map. This boil order is in effect until further notice. If you are in question about your area, please call our office at 812-384-8261. You should raise your water to a 5-minute boil before consumption. Use bottled water for consumption, when washing dishes, and brushing teeth until further notice. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.
