New Page, same Democrats. 👋

Our old Page quietly went dark after a routine admin change, and after many hours with Facebook's support system (we'll spare you the details, but there was a lot of being asked to try again later), it's clear it isn't coming back before the election.

So we're starting fresh right here. We'll miss years of photos and posts, but the work is the same: getting Andover informed and out to vote.

Please follow this Page and share this post so everyone who followed us before can find us again. Election Day is Tuesday, November 3. Let's go!

The businesses at Wintonbury Mall have been without power for more than a week. No lights, no phones, no card processing. But they're still here, and they need their community.

Here's how you can help. Buy a gift card or prepay for a future service today, and use it once they reopen. Your purchase puts cash in their hands when they need it most.

Today, we remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and the families who continue to carry their memory, as well as the courage of first responders and all those who came together in the days that followed.

Twenty-five years later, we reflect and honor their legacy. 🇺🇸

Labor Day is a celebration of the workers who keep Connecticut running — nurses, teachers, tradespeople, and everyone in between. Today we honor the hands and hearts behind our communities.

As the school year starts, the Bloomfield DTC would like to wish our 2026 scholarship recipients, Arianna Reid and Chance Clarke, a great semester as they begin their college journeys!

Arianna is attending Southern Connecticut State University this fall and planning to major in Political Science. She is well regarded for her extracurricular activities including varsity soccer and track & field as well as her active participation in numerous academic enrichment programs.

Chance is attending the University of Connecticut this fall and will major in Political Science. During his time at Bloomfield High School, he was known for his willingness to challenge himself academically and his commitment as a member of the soccer and track and field teams since his freshman year.

Thank you to all of our generous donors who make the Bloomfield DTC scholarship possible. Because of your contributions, we are able to annually award two graduating Bloomfield High School students $500 each to use in preparation for college. Please join us in giving so that we can continue to support students like Arianna and Chance in the coming years!

The Bloomfield Democratic Town Committee mourns the loss of Nancy Wyman, one of Connecticut’s finest public servants. There would be far less cynicism in politics if there were more people like Nancy. Her kindness, integrity, leadership, and commitment to public service represented the very best of our Democratic values.

Connecticut is better because Nancy Wyman served, and her legacy will continue to inspire generations of public servants. She will truly be missed.

Our deepest condolences are with her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
