🇺🇸Thank you to the Dexter Elks Lodge for the 9-11 “Honoring our Heroes” dinner. Your support means so much to all of us! 🇺🇸

09/11/2026

🇺🇸Today, we pause in honor of the 2,799 lives that was lost 25 years ago today! The countless lives and families that were forever changed. 🇺🇸

We praise every firefighter who climbed toward the smoke, every police officer who held the ground and got people out, every paramedic or EMT who worked in the rubble, and the military who was called to protect our nation. Many first responders did not come home that day! We call them, HEROES 🇺🇸

We will never forget the bravery, strength, and sacrifice shown that day!

🇺🇸🚔🚒🚑As members of law enforcement, we stand united with our fellow first responders and communities to remember the heroes who gave everything in service of others.🇺🇸🚑🚔🚒

📱 PARENTS: DO YOU KNOW WHAT APPS YOUR CHILD IS USING? 📱

Technology changes quickly, and new apps are constantly being downloaded by children and teens. While many apps are harmless, others may expose young users to online predators, cyberbullying, inappropriate content, disappearing messages, and privacy risks.

The Stoddard County Sheriff's Office encourages all parents and guardians to review this updated list of popular apps and take time to discuss online safety with their children. Staying informed is one of the best ways to help protect your family in today's digital world.

✅ Know what apps are on your child's device. ✅ Review privacy and safety settings. ✅ Monitor online activity. ✅ Keep the conversation open and ongoing.

Together, we can help keep our children safe both online and in our communities.
