Oncology certified, registered nurse educators provide one-on-one education with clients and their family members. The Team offers genetics education, patient advocacy and some individualized financial assistance. Free educational talks and materials are always available to groups, schools, businesses and individuals. Indiana's Olcott Navigation Team services are free thanks to , grants, direct gifts, monetary donations, IUH Foundation, Pink Power Event. Although a physician may refer you to Navigation, you never need a referral to take advantage of our services. Located in Bloomington, 2651 E Discovery Parkway serves all of south central Indiana. To further assist you, here is a list of community resources available for cancer patients as well as family members and friends. Call 812.353.5669 to access the following:
•Free one-on-one counseling with oncology certified nurses, including inpatient visitation for patients and family members, as requested
•Genetics education and testing
•GIRL Friend Fund for those with financial needs (provided by private donations and other fundraising events.
•Community/employee health fair visits and cancer speaker’s bureau
•Annual skin cancer screening and prevention campaign
