πŸ’œ Stronger Together: Fourth Annual β€œLet’s Talk D.V.” Resource Fair πŸ’œ

Yesterday, Family Community Resource Center hosted our Fourth Annual β€œLet’s Talk D.V.” Resource Fair at the Bloomington Public Library in Bloomington, Illinois, to recognize Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

With this year’s theme, β€œStronger Together,” we came together to raise awareness, share valuable resources, and remind individuals and families that help, hope, and support are available.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to our community supporters, participating organizations, resource providers, and everyone who helped make this event possible. Your support and dedication help us educate our community, connect individuals with resources, and stand alongside survivors. πŸ’œ

Together, we can break the silence, raise awareness, and build a stronger, safer community. No one should have to face domestic violence alone.

πŸ’œ Together, we are stronger!

This event is just one week away. Please join us at the Bloomington Public Library, Illinois on 10/20. Education is one of our strongest tools in addressing domestic violence. Recognizing the warning signs, understanding the dangers, and knowing where to find help can empower people to make informed decisions about their safety. Local community organizations are joining hands to be "Stronger Together", offering support to survivors, hope for those in need, and building a stronger network of care.

In September, Family Community Resource Center (FCRC) proudly participated in a Friday Reading event at Sugar Creek Elementary School in recognition of National Literacy Month!
We were excited to join the school community in promoting the importance of reading, encouraging a love of books, and supporting literacy among our children. Reading opens doors to learning, imagination, and endless possibilities!
At FCRC, we believe that investing in our children and their education helps build stronger families and brighter futures. We are grateful for the opportunity to participate in community events that encourage learning, connection, and growth.
