Career opportunities (both full and part time) are offered throughout the Twin Cities area. The Direct Support Professional (DSP) duties include visiting the homes of one or more clients in the metro area and/or fulfilling available positions at Prime Care Services residential homes (reliable vehicle and valid driver's license are A MUST). The DSP will work with clients who are coping with physical disabilities and/or mental health complications to provide individualized care. You will be assisting with activities of daily living such as personal cares (meal prep, dressing, etc), transportation, errands and activities, organization and paperwork, and monitoring and reporting changes in client's behaviors and mental and physical health statuses. The most qualified candidate will have experience in disability services, mental health, home health and other related fields. They will have a positive and patient demeanor, and an ability to build rapport with patients. An ability to handle light physical workload and excellent written and verbal communication skills is necessary. Pay is $13 to $15 per hour depending on experience.
