Today members of our department joined hundreds of other police officers from around the area, as well as across the country, to attend the funeral of slain Philadelphia Police Sergeant Shane Seiber, who made the ultimate sacrifice. Sergeant Seiber was a 10-year veteran of the department, a United States Air Force Veteran, and most importantly a loving husband and father to two small children. We honor him and hope that his family, friends, and fellow officers can find peace in this tough time.

After carefully monitoring the forecast, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the Whitpain Community Festival scheduled for Saturday, September 26 at Montgomery County Community College.

With strong winds expected, the safety of our attendees, vendors, volunteers, staff, and participants is our top priority. Out of an abundance of caution, we have decided that canceling this year’s event is the best decision.

We sincerely thank all of our sponsors, vendors, volunteers, and the Whitpain community for your support and understanding. We are disappointed that we won’t be able to celebrate with you this year, but we look forward to welcoming everyone back for the 2027 Whitpain Community Festival!

Tonight's Big Rig Roundup: Touch-A-Truck is still on! We hope you join us tonight, Friday, September 25 at Montgomery County Community College - Morris Road Lot 5:30-8PM.

On September 11th, 2001, our nation witnessed a tragedy we will never forget. Some of our Police Officers left Whitpain on the afternoon of that day to go up to New York City and help find those that were trapped and/or missing. 10 years later the Second Alarmers were given a piece of the World Trade Center. This artifact is located between the township building and Second Alarmer's Association and Rescue Squad of Montgomery County building. Centre Square Fire Company
