Tonight, 3G Philly, together Jewish Federation of Reading & Jewish Cultural Center of Reading had the privilege of spending time with the cast of Tulpehocken Theatre Company’s upcoming production of The Diary of Anne Frank, sharing family stories, Jewish traditions, food, and conversation.

These students aren’t simply learning lines. They are asking questions, learning about the Jewish lives and culture behind the history, and thinking deeply about the responsibility of telling Anne’s story.

For descendants of Holocaust survivors, there is something incredibly meaningful about watching a new generation choose to engage with this history with such curiosity and care. And as members of the local Jewish community, we are especially grateful for the genuine desire of these students and their school to learn from and connect with us.

We are so grateful to the students, their director, and the Tulpehocken community for inviting 3G Philly and the Jewish Federation of Reading into this experience. This is just the beginning of what we hope will be a very meaningful collaboration as the students prepare to bring Anne’s story to the stage. ❤️
