THE WAIT IS OVER, JACKSON COUNTY!

The four brand-new Truman Courts at Fleming Park will officially open this Friday, October 16, at 10 a.m.!

These are the first pickleball courts in the Jackson County Parks system, and we’d love for you to join us for the grand opening and ribbon-cutting celebration, followed by a ceremonial first match on the new courts!

The courts will be FREE to use and open to the public!

With over 100 vendors, you’ll find plenty to spoil your four-legged friend—from homemade dog treats and toys to custom collars, dog clothing, pet-related crafts, and more!

Meet local veterinarians, groomers, dog trainers, and daycare providers, connect with over 20 shelters and rescues, and grab a bite from our food trucks while you browse.

There’s still time to enjoy the lake before boat rental season comes to a close!

Fall fishing is picking up, migration season is beginning for birdwatchers, and there are still a few beautiful fall days ahead to spend on the water.

Jacomo Marina offers:
• Pontoons
• Jon boats — with or without a trolling motor

Boat rentals begin at 8 a.m. daily, and all boats must be returned by 4 p.m.
