October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This month, we stand together to raise awareness, encourage regular screenings, and remind our sisters to prioritize their health.
Know your body. Know your risk. Get your screenings. Encourage the women you love to do the same.
As sisters, we lift each other up, support one another, and stand together in the fight against breast cancer.
Early detection can make a difference. 💗

Sisterly Reminder: You Are Not Alone.
October is National Depression Awareness and Education Month, and we’re taking this time to remind our sisters and our community that it’s okay to not be okay.
Let’s check on one another, listen without judgment, and create space for honest conversations about mental health. Sometimes a simple “How are you really doing?” can mean more than we realize.
As sisters, let’s continue to uplift, support, and remind each other that asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness.

CALLING ALL ALUMNI:
This weekend, the Bluefield State family suffered a heartbreaking loss with the passing of Maleek, a first-year student and member of the BSU wrestling team. Maleek was a bright young man just beginning his journey here, eager to build his legacy at Bluefield State. His life was cut far too short.

We are asking our alumni family to come together in support of Maleek's loved ones as they face the difficult task of laying him to rest. Any contribution you can offer will help ease their burden during this painful time.
