East Harriers showed out today! They placed 6th out of 16 at the Tennessee AA State Meet: 6th best AA team in the State! Every single runner got a personal record today. Collin Morton, who finished 11th overall, ran 11:29 for the 2-mile course: which broke his recently set school record from last weekend. These boys worked so incredibly hard for this, and all of their hard work paid off today.

We would like to take a moment to thank all of the parents involved: we could not have done this without you guys. Thank you so very much for letting your kids come out and do one more thing. Thank you so much for your support, both for your own kid(s) and all the other kids on the team. This program has come a long way and we owe it a lot to you guys! We can't wait to be out here again next year!!!

LET'S GO PATS!!!

🏃🏻‍♂️🏃‍♂️💨 Great last regular season meet! The Patriot harriers once again tackled the tough hills of Sugar Hollow: the boys, missing their regular top seven, ran a gutsy race and tied for third place. They were led by Asher Cross, Eyan Walden, Jaxson Nickle, Jonah Howren, and Tucker Cross.

The girls were in another close battle, missing top four by one point! They were led by Alina Purswani's astounding third place finish overall!!!! The rest of the girls top five consisted of Bailey Cretsinger, Leah Miller, Addy Jamacy, and Marissa Doane.

Almost all of the runners ran PR's from the last time they were out here at Sugar Hollow. ❤️🤍💙

✨🎓 National GEAR UP Week at Sullivan East Middle School! 🎓✨

We had SO much fun Lighting the Way during National GEAR UP Week! 💙💡

We kicked off the week with students signing up at the GEAR UP table for a week full of activities, challenges, and chances to win! Throughout the week, our students got to:

💌 Write a letter to their future selves
🎨 Create an “I ❤️ GEAR UP” coloring page and share what they love about GEAR UP
🧠 Put their college knowledge to the test with college trivia
👟 Participate in our daily dress-up challenge

And yes... we had PRIZES! 🎉 Students who participated in our daily lunch activities had the chance to win Stickley Farm tickets 🎟️🌽. Students who dressed up throughout the week could also find Ms. Ashton or Ms. Morgan to get their name entered into our GRAND PRIZE drawing for ETSU Football & Volleyball tickets! 🏈🏐💜

We loved seeing our students show their GEAR UP spirit, get involved, and have a little fun while thinking about their futures! 🌟

A HUGE thank you to everyone who participated and helped make National GEAR UP Week at Sullivan East one to remember! 💙

Keep dreaming. Keep exploring. Keep Lighting the Way! ✨
