The New York State Senate Empire Award is the Senate's highest honor for small businesses and organizations. It recognizes local businesses, farms, and non-profits that show exceptional dedication to their customers, employees, and local communities, while driving economic growth.
Today I had the great honor of recognizing a friend who has always been there when we needed him. Pete Buccino who owns and operates Viking, a company in Lindenhurst that is a premier source for Fire Dept and EMS custom printing, specialized uniform apparel, installation programs, custom patches, and fire prevention kits. Pete is more than just a hardworking businessman, he is highly recognized across Suffolk County for his leadership roles in local chambers of commerce, and his expansive charity work, notably serving as “Head Elf” for the KIDS NEED MORE holiday cheer bus campaigns. We thank Pete and his family for all they do in our community. Having already reached “success”, we wish them much health and happiness in their future. We are so proud to call them friends and neighbors.
