This is particularly so for the officer and his/her family if he/she requires emergency transport to an out-of-area hospital.
The financial and emotional burden to the immediate family members of an officer who has fallen victim to a sudden, unexpected, duty-related serious injury or illness requiring emergency medical treatment is substantial. Another great example of the community support in the Treasure Valley for law enforcement. Thank you Farmers Insurance- Mariah Gates and Canyon County, Idaho for the support and donation! Thank you to all the businesses and community members who helped with the event.
This money will help support officers and their families injured in the line of duty, and will also encourage those who put on the uniform every day.
