Signatures Needed TODAY on Congressional Letter to Commerce Secretary

As you know, the US Commerce Department recently DOUBLED the tariffs on imports of softwood lumber from Canada. This comes at a time when lumber prices are still well-above pre-pandemic prices, meaning this ill-advised decision by the Biden Administration to double tariffs on Canadian softwood lumber will only make matters worse for your businesses and customers.

We need your help to get the Biden Administration involved - members of Congress need to sign the "Hern-Higgins Lumber Letter." The time is right for President Biden to negotiate an updated softwood lumber agreement with Canada and increase US lumber production by harvesting more timber from US forest lands.

These doubled tariffs will make already-high inflation worse, sending lumber prices soaring, adding tens of thousands of dollars to the price of a new single-family home and thousands of dollars to the price of a multifamily home.

Contact your Member of Congress and ask them to sign the "Hern-Higgins Lumber Letter" and help end the punishing of American homebuyers and renters.

If President Biden and Congress truly want to make housing more affordable for all Americans, they must start by bringing lumber prices down.

We got so overwhelmed with players, we extended it out to September 30th & October 1st !

We still have Teams & Sponsorships Available on September 30th.

On October 1st we have a lot Sponsorships Available, but the teams are full !

We have maxed out on the number of teams and players but there are still hole sponsorships available for the PAC Golf Tournament on September 30th. Sponsorships are $500 per hole, $400 per tee, or $250 per green.

If you can't sponsor a hole, tee or green, we are also asking for donations for raffle prizes. It's another way to support our PAC and promote your business. If you would like to donate a raffle prize, contact either me or Emily at the BCASWI. Raffle prizes can be an actual item or a discount certificate for your product or service.

BCASWI PAC Golf Tournament

I shouldn’t have to tell you how important it is that we help to elect pro-growth, pro-housing, pro-business candidates to office this November. The PAC Golf tournament has been our major source of PAC funds for the past several years.

There are still 12 hole sponsorships available for the PAC Golf Tournament on September 30th. Sponsorships are $500 per hole, $400 per tee, or $250 per green.

Registration Fee for golf is $95 and includes 18 holes, cart, range balls, lunch and beverages. Four person teams. If you do not have a full team, PAC will place you on a team. Because every team will have an assigned tee time rather than a shotgun start, we will be able to accomodate more than 24 teams. (96 players).
