I-90 drivers through CDA should plan for significant delays starting early tomorrow morning, through the weekend and into next week.

Paving work will reduce I-90 to one lane in each direction 24/7 between Northwest Blvd and US-95, and these restrictions will remain in place through at least Wednesday.

Eastbound lanes are expected to fully reopen after paving. Westbound lane restrictions will likely stay in place through early November.

Additional traffic changes are coming further west, including a traffic shift for both westbound lanes, and week-long road closures at Huetter and Atlas Roads.

Join us next week as we join Jefferson and Bonneville Counties.

Jefferson County is partnering with the Idaho Transportation Department and Bonneville County to share recommended traffic improvement alternatives for the greater Rigby area, including the US-20/County Line Road interchange.

The meeting will begin with a presentation of recommended improvement alternatives, followed by an open house where community members can learn more, ask questions, and share feedback.

Reminder Treasure Valley! Crews are placing concrete decks on the flyover ramps above I-84 Thursday, Oct. 15!

This work will require a nighttime closure of ALL lanes on I-84 between Garrity (Exit 38) and Ten Mile (Exit 42) Interchanges. The closure will take place from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Your comments, emails and conversations help us understand what matters most to Idahoans.

From road conditions to project designs, your feedback helps inform decisions about Idaho’s transportation system. A few examples include US-95 at Dufort Road in Sagle, SH-54 between Farragut State Park and Bayview, SH-44 through Star and SH-55 between Farmway Road and Middleton Road.

Not every request can happen overnight. Funding, planning and safety all play a role in what’s possible, but hearing from the people who use our roads every day is an important part of the process.

Teachers—have your students named a snowplow yet? We are inviting 6th–12th grade classrooms across Idaho to help us name the plows you’ll see clearing the roads this winter. ❄️

This is a great opportunity to get students involved in a fun, hands-on learning activity that also builds awareness about snowplow safety. Each classroom can submit one name, and winners will get a snowplow naming event at their school—complete with the plow, its driver, local media, and ITD staff.

Paving continues on US-95 between the Y intersection & 7th Ave N in Payette.

What to expect:
– US-95 reduced to one lane with a pilot car directing traffic from the Y to 6th Ave
– US-95 reduced to one lane in each direction from 6th Ave to 7th Ave N
– Flaggers at intersections & business entrances

Traffic is expected to shift onto the northbound lanes the night of 10/15. Please be aware & watch for shifting traffic patterns.
