KTVB's 7's Hero is one of our incredible volunteers, Riley Wiedmeier!

"You don't have to wait until you retire to give back in this way. Life is short," he said. "My mom passed away when she was 50, and so that encouraged me to go out and live life. Don't wait until you have the time, make the time and make it a priority to volunteer. It's just a meal, but it's so much more than that. It's the relationships that you get to build along the way. It's amazing."

We are so grateful for each and every generous supporter who gave during Idaho Gives! 119 donors raised a grand total of $17,700 for our seniors. That equals over 3,500 meals to homebound seniors throughout Ada County, Emmett, Middleton, Marsing, McCall, Cascade, and Caldwell!

Thank you so much for caring for our seniors this week. Your support ensures they receive hot, nutritious food and remain independent in their own homes with their pets.
