☀️Updated temperature and wind gust forecasts for the end of the week through the weekend. High pressure over the region will bring temperatures up to 20 degrees above normal by Friday, before a mostly dry Pacific low pressure system returns a cooling trend over the weekend. Breezy winds will be expected over most areas Thursday through the weekend.
On Wednesday (6/03/26), gusty winds and showers/thunderstorms are expected with a cold front moving through the area. Shown below is an animation Wednesday afternoon and evening of the wind gusts across the region, increasing especially late Wednesday afternoon and evening.

A warm up in store this week with temperatures ten degrees above normal by Wednesday. No significant chances of precipitation, but more wind anticipated for the middle of the week.

🌧️The low pressure system will move northward out of our area today through the weekend, bringing a cooling trend and scattered showers/thunderstorms over mountain areas. High pressure aloft building into the region will return a warming and drying trend☀️ Monday through midweek.

📡4:10PM Radar: Wind gusts up to 70 mph observed in outflow winds from thunderstorms to the south are moving through the Treasure Valley. Behind the winds, the thunderstorms themselves are expected to move in. Storms are developing from Boise to McCall to Burns.

Here is the current radar over the area. Multiple severe thunderstorms warnings have been issued, with these thunderstorms capable of winds up to 70 mph and hail to 1.5 inches.
