Raising awareness of cancer issues in Idaho by reducing the risks for cancer, increasing screening, Cancer is the leading cause of death in Idaho.

One out of every two men and one out of every three women will get some kind of cancer in their lifetime. Approximately one-third of cancers could be prevented if we eliminated tobacco use, increased physical activity, improved nutrition, and maintained a healthy weight. Others could be prevented through sun safety and screening tests to find and remove precancerous cells before they become cancer
