Idaho State Veterans Home Boise

At the Idaho State Veterans Home in Boise, we have an annual tradition- The Amazing Easter Race! We pair our veterans with volunteers and race around the building competing in minute to win it games. It's a fierce competition to win the Golden Egg!

Our veterans had a super fun time at the Boise Reptile Zoo last week. We saw some interesting creatures, fed some tortoises, and some of our brave veterans even touched a snake!

Our veterans had an amazing time at the Boise Roadster Show! Thank you to our volunteers that helped us see all the cool cars. It was such a perfect day to enjoy the classic vehicles. It brought back so many memories for our guys!

Casino Night at the Idaho State Veterans Home! It was a wild night full of fun and prizes. We send a big thank you to all the volunteers that came to help our veterans play. We couldn't have done it without you!

Our veterans enjoyed a paint pouring class taught by our long- time volunteer and local artist, Sue Elle! Their art was featured at the Art Source Gallery and we took a trip to see the display!

Our veterans enjoyed the cards, the candy, and the reminder that people still think they’re pretty great… even without having to run laps, peel potatoes, or pass inspection first. 😉
