ign to engage Military Chaplains, clergy, and local churches in providing services and support to meet the spiritual and emotional needs of Service Members, Veterans and their Families. Opportunities include presentations to raise awareness of the needs and role that faith communities can play, resources to reach out to Service Members, Veterans and their Families in your community, and access to established, exemplary programs that assist organizations in providing more structured services. There now is a group getting together monthly in the Treasure Valley to discuss the faith needs of Service Members, Veterans and their Families. The group is comprised of several different organizations providing services to Service Members, Veterans and their Families as well as representation from Treasure Valley Christian Congregations. The whole purpose is to spread the Faith Based opportunity of Army OneSource and educate the people as to understanding the needs of Military Members within their Congregations. We can offer written literature or a visit to any group that might like further education and contacts.
