Treasure Valley DUI Task Force

The Treasure Valley DUI Task Force joined the community at Firebird Raceway’s annual Trunk or Treat over the weekend to honor Joel Eggers and raise awareness about impaired driving.

Joel, the raceway’s former chief starter, was killed by an impaired driver in 2016.
For the Task Force, preventing impaired driving extends beyond traffic stops. It means connecting with families, remembering lives lost and helping people understand what’s at stake before they get behind the wheel.

We’re grateful to be part of an event that keeps Joel’s memory alive and brings the community together.

Plan ahead. Choose a sober ride. Help everyone get home safely.

Results are in!🚨🚨 During a 3 day operation officers, deputies, and troopers prioritized impaired driving during the Caldwell Night Rodeo The results were shocking! Don’t drink and drive and don’t drive high! Thank you to all of those who made responsible decisions and had a plan going into the night!💪🏻💪🏻

It’s been a busy month for us! From the Canyon County Fair to the Western Idaho Fair and Caldwell Night Rodeo in between! No matter the event we want to provide education and encourage responsible choices throughout the Treasure Valley! Enjoy the concert tonight and drive sober!🍻🚨🇺🇸

Our three-day DUI emphasis starts now for the Caldwell night Rodeo 🚔

Drivers can expect an increased law enforcement presence throughout the Caldwell area. We’ll also have our tent set up at the rodeo, so come say hi!
