🚒 Idaho Fire Service Training is seeking qualified evaluators for the upcoming IFSAC Fire Officer I, II, and III certification programs!

FST is transitioning Fire Officer skills testing to a live evaluation format, similar to other IFSAC certification programs. Evaluations may be conducted in person at an AHJ or remotely via live stream.

Evaluators can choose to volunteer their time or join the FST employment pool and receive compensation for their services.

Propane Emergencies at Clearwater Fire Academy in Orofino, Idaho.
Firefighters are trained to cool the propane tank and coordinate an advance to shut off the gas flow. If the tanks are not cooled and the gas continues to flow and heat the tank, it can result in a devastating explosion (BLEVE). These Firefighters could be responding to a propane emergency anytime in their community. Photos and video courtesy of FST Instructor Steve.
