Founded in 2011, ART is proudly Idaho owned
and operated, and has grown to the largest, most reliable and advanced provider of private ground ambulance transport services in Idaho. We regularly provide efficient and experienced interfacility ambulance transport services for Treasure Valley and Eastern Idaho's hospitals. ART transports advanced medical care patient transfers for nursing homes, skilled nursing facilities, specialty care facilities, hospice agencies, as well as provides ground support for medical flight agencies. We are also an indirect air medical services provider for patients needing to move in or out of Idaho by partnering with local area direct air carriers operating medical aircraft under 14.CFR Part 135. Other non-medical services offered by Acute Rescue include wheelchair, gurney van, and secure psychiatric transportation options for both local and long distance transports. ART proudly serves our communities by providing standby event medical services for local and regional events, and is the preferred PRCA rodeo EMS provider in the Treasure Valley. We also contribute critical care medical resources to support county and local area pre-hospital and 911 emergency response when requested. Acute Rescue is also a certified LGBTQ+ owned buisness by the NGLCC, and is honored to participate in the Idaho Time Sensitive Emergency system, Idaho State University's Paramedic Program, and the EMS Sustainability Task Force, dedicated to recommending policy solutions that will provide a sustainable EMS system to be able to provide an appropriate, reliable response to medical emergencies throughout Idaho. The 42nd Saint Alphonsus Capitol Classic Kids Run is coming up Saturday, May 30th — and we are so excited to be there cheering on the next generation! 🎉
This beloved one-mile run, hosted by Saint Alphonsus and the Treasure Valley Family YMCA, is open to kids 15 and under. The course loops through the streets of downtown Boise and finishes at Cecil D. Andrus Park, right in front of the Idaho State Capitol. Every finisher gets a medal and a t-shirt — because every kid who crosses that line is a winner. 🏅

It's National EMS Week 2026, and we are celebrating all week long! 🚑
This year's theme is Improving Outcomes, Together — and that's exactly what the Acute Rescue and Transport team does every single day. From critical care transports to the moments that quietly change someone's life, our crews show up with skill, compassion, and heart.
We've got something planned for every day this week:
📚 Monday — Education Day: Our crews were sharpening their skills with education yesterday because great patient care starts with continuous learning.
🚗 Tuesday — Safety Day: We're spotlighting seat belt safety for our crews, passengers, and patients — a simple habit that saves lives every single day.
👧🏽 Wednesday — EMS for Children Day: Families and friends, bring the kiddos! We're opening our station doors for tours and introducing the next generation to the world of EMS.
🩸 Thursday — Save-A-Life Day: Stop the Bleed training — because bystanders are always first on scene, and knowing what to do matters.

This Saturday, May 16th, the 49th Annual YMCA Famous Idaho Potato Marathon is HERE and Acute Rescue and Transport will be on-site all day with our eyes on the course 👀 — keeping runners safe every step of the way!
Whether you're running the 5K, 10K, half marathon, or going the full 26.2 miles — we think you're all a-PEEL-ing. 🧡 All spec-taters can watch the action at the Morrison Center on BSU's campus along the scenic Boise Greenbelt. Mark your mash-ter calendar for these race start times:

This Sunday, treat Mom to the perfect afternoon at the picturesque Ste. Chapelle Winery — the kickoff of the Open Air Concert Series, with crowd favorite, Hit Machine!
The wine bar opens at 11 am, Hit Machine takes the stage at 1 pm, and the fun doesn't stop until 5 pm. So grab your chairs and blankets, bring your people, and let Mom soak in every minute of it. She's earned it.
