🚦 TRAFFIC ALERT – BOUGHTON ROAD & I-355

Please be advised that the Village’s Electrical Section will be replacing the traffic signal cabinet at the intersection of Boughton Road and the I-355 southbound west ramps on Thursday, October 22.

📅 Thursday, October 22, 2026
⏰ 4:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

A designated work zone will be in place during the replacement.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: Until the traffic signal is fully operational, the intersection must be treated as an ALL-WAY STOP, as required by state law. Temporary stop signs and message boards will be in place to help keep motorists and pedestrians safe.

Please slow down, remain alert, and use caution when traveling through the area.

🚨 TRAFFIC ALERT – WEBER ROAD & JENNIFER LANE 🚨

Please use caution when traveling through the intersection of Weber Road and Jennifer Lane.

An accident around 5:30 PM caused significant damage to the traffic signal cabinet, leaving the entire intersection without power.

🚧 IMPORTANT: The intersection is now an ALL-WAY STOP. Stop signs will be placed in all directions, and message boards will be installed along Weber Road to alert drivers.

⚠️ Illinois law requires drivers to treat the intersection as an all-way stop until the traffic signal is operational. Please slow down, remain alert, and allow extra time when traveling through the area.

🔧 Repair Schedule:

* Wednesday, October 21, at 4:00 AM: Installation of the new traffic signal cabinet is scheduled to begin.
* By 2:00 PM Wednesday: Repairs are expected to be completed.

🎶☀️ What a fantastic way to wrap up our 2026 Wednesday Night Summer Concert Series! 💙 Last night’s final concert featured Marrakesh Express – A Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young Tribute and brought out hundreds of residents despite the cooler weather!

🎸🎤Everyone enjoyed an evening filled with incredible live music, delicious food (including some tasty chili! 🌶️), dancing, and wonderful community connections. There’s nothing better than bringing our community together for a night of music and fun!

💃🕺A huge THANK YOU to Production & Media Manager Dave Tomsky, Emcee Michael Lawler, the lighting and audio technical teams, the Bolingbrook Community Television crew, and everyone who helped make this year’s Wednesday Night Summer Concert Series such a success! 👏💙
