🌱🌶️ Hardeman County Master Gardeners October Meeting! 🌶️🌱

We had a great time at our Master Gardener meeting last night!

A big thank you to everyone who participated in our Chili Cook-Off! We had some delicious chili and enjoyed a fun twist on our usual meeting refreshments. 🥣🍂

We were also excited to have Sabrina Childs with Ball Seed Company as our guest speaker. Sabrina shared some fascinating information about Ball Seed Company and the extensive plant trials and testing they conduct before new plants are made available for the public to purchase. 🌸🌿

It was interesting to learn more about what goes on behind the scenes to determine which plants make it to garden centers and ultimately into our gardens!

Did you know you can visit Ball Seed Company's headquarters and gardens in West Chicago, Illinois? It sounds like a great destination for any plant lover! 🌱✈️

Thank you, Sabrina, for sharing your knowledge with us, and thank you to all of our Master Gardeners for another fun evening together!

🌱 Growing knowledge, growing friendships, and growing better gardens! 🌱
