Stacie has been part of the CMHCF team for 4 months, and we're so happy to have her with us! 🥰

💙 Favorite Part of the Job: Stacie loves getting to know our residents, learning about their careers, their families, and their life experiences. She believes they are full of amazing knowledge, and we love that she takes the time to learn their stories! ❤️

☀️ Favorite Season: Summer! If Stacie could, she'd spend every day at the river, lake, or creek. 🌊🛶

This past week, our residents got hands-on with some fall fun! We scooped out pumpkin seeds, got our hands a little messy, and explored some fun science experiments using our pumpkin. 🎃

Our residents love getting involved, getting their hands dirty, and seeing the exciting results of our experiments! There’s nothing quite like combining a little curiosity, learning, and laughter. 🧪✨

Who says science can’t be messy AND fun?! 😉 We love finding creative ways to keep our residents engaged and enjoying every season!

Shirley was ready to get into the Halloween spirit and wanted some festive nails! Lainey came to the rescue with a fun orange manicure and spooky Halloween stickers to complete the look! 🕷️🕸️

🌟 Rehab Success Story: Mary Graves! 🌟

We are so excited to celebrate Mary Graves and her rehabilitation success at CMHCF! 💙

Mary received Occupational Therapy (OT), Physical Therapy (PT), and Speech Therapy (ST) during her stay, and she had wonderful things to say about her experience!

“Therapy was amazing, and I really enjoyed it! I wanted to be prepared to go home, and they really progressed me. I feel really confident! I’ve had a good experience at CMHCF and have no complaints!”

We are so proud of the progress Mary has made and love hearing that she feels confident and ready to return home! 🏡 Her success is a wonderful reminder of the dedication, encouragement, and teamwork our therapy department provides every day.

🐋 Resident Spotlight: Shirley! 🐳

Let’s celebrate Shirley! 🪸 Shirley joined in on the fun at our Golden Age Games this past Friday, participating in basketball throw , bingo, yarn art, and soccer kicks!

We loved seeing her get involved, enjoy some friendly competition, and make wonderful memories with everyone. Shirley placed 5th in bingo and 2nd in the yarn art! Way to go, Shirley! 🏆👏
