We are SO proud to announce that Teri Shimoda has been named SHAPE Washington’s Middle School PE Teacher of the Year! 🏆

SHAPE Washington recognizes educators who make a tremendous, positive impact by empowering students to become healthy, physically literate adults.

Teri sets the gold standard for physical education by creating a safe, inclusive space where every student feels valued and knows they belong. From mentoring fellow staff members to going above and beyond for every student who walks through her gym doors, Teri truly embodies the spirit of Mountain View!

Help us congratulate Teri on this well-deserved honor! We are incredibly proud of her and so lucky to have her as a member of our pack!

We have a New Face in Our Front Office this year!
Help us welcome our new Attendance Secretary, Jeana Schwarzmann to Mountain View! Coming from a big Italian family, she knows that family is everything. She’s married to Tyler, mom to Dylan (27) and Gianna (11), who is a 6th grader right here at Mountain View, and proud mother-in-law to Kiley.

After 13 years at Todd Beamer High School in Federal Way, she’s excited to switch things up and work with middle schoolers—and she’s loving it so far!

When she’s not at school, she enjoys spending time with her family, loving on her two dogs (a Golden Retriever/Bloodhound mix and a Boxer), and all things sports. A lifelong soccer player, she especially loves cheering on her daughter as she cheers for the Junior Panthers!

We’re so happy to have her as part of the Mountain View family. Stop by the front office and say hello!

Our incredible Advanced Treble Choir performed “The Star-Spangled Banner” and Canada’s national anthem, “O Canada,” last night at the Thunderbirds hockey game. What an amazing opportunity to showcase their talent! So proud of these talented singers!

Mrs. Rygol would love your help with a special part of our yearbook! 📸

We’re looking for photos of our Wolves enjoying their summer—vacations, adventures, sports, family time, summer activities, or just making great memories.

If you have a fun summer photo featuring one of our Wolves, please send it our way so we can help capture those memories in this year’s yearbook!
