Join the Kahoots Crew and fellow animal lovers on Saturday, November 14th

Join the Kahoots Crew and fellow animal lovers on Saturday, November 14th at 7:30am for a morning of fresh air, community spirit, and giving back to our local trails!

Our local parks and trails give our pups so much joy, now it’s our turn to take care of them. Kahoots Fallbrook is sponsoring a community Paws on the Path trail clean-up, and we want you (and your leashed furry friends) to join the pack. Whether you have two legs or four, everyone is welcome to help us keep our community beautiful.

What We Provide
🐕 Trash bags and recycling bags
🐕‍🦺 Complementary Kahoots pet treats and water for all volunteer pups.
🦮 Human refreshments to keep your energy up!

What to Bring
🥾 Comfortable walking or hiking shoes.
🧤 Gloves or trash pickers
🫗 A reusable water bottle.
💩 A leash and waste bags for your dog (if bringing a furry co-captain). Sorry about the emoji but hey, the p**p has got to go!

Parenting Tip Tuesday 💭

When your child or teen is upset, it’s natural to want to explain your decision, solve the problem, or address the way they’re speaking to you.

But before jumping in, try taking a moment to acknowledge what they’re feeling.

Validation means letting your child know that you hear them and are trying to understand their experience. You can recognize that they’re disappointed, frustrated, or hurt, even when you see the situation differently.

You might say:

“I hear you say that you’re upset. I know this matters to you. I’m here to listen, but we still need to speak respectfully to each other.”

Their feelings matter, and respectful communication matters too. There is room for both. 💚

When children feel heard, it can help keep the door open for a conversation about what happened and how to move forward together.
