♻️ Fall Bulk Clean-Up & Recycling Event!!
🎃 NEXT Saturday, October 10 - 8am to 12 noon
📦 37 Park Drive Parking Lot

📌 Several dumpsters will be available for Town residents to dispose of unwanted bulky items in the Shafer Park parking lot. Horizon Goodwill and Conservit will be onsite to accept donations and recyclables.

♻️ Citizens must show proof of residency, such as a driver’s license, unless strictly bringing items for donation or recycling. Volunteers for the Town & Boonsboro Green Fest Committee will be available to help unload and sort items.

Acceptable Bulky Items for Disposal: Carpet (rolled & tied), mattresses & box springs, miscellaneous junk and other items that cannot be recycled and are too large or too heavy to be placed inside a trash bag

🎉 A variety of usable items will be salvaged and will be available during the day for FREE to anyone who wants them.

✅ Residents unable to transport large items to Shafer Park should hold those items until the Spring Curbside Clean-Up in May 2026

♻️ The following will be accepted for RECYCLING:
All electronic devices (including TVs, cables, monitors), all metal appliances, any type of scrap metal, bicycles, all types of batteries, furniture, eye glasses, Christmas tree lights and car seats. We will also take other hard plastics to recycle such as buckets, resin patio chairs and 'Little Tike' type children's play equipment. We will be collecting electronics and batteries for recycling!!

❌ Unacceptable Items include opened cans of paint, tires, construction and remodeling debris (such as dry wall and concrete), appliances with Freon, and toxic materials.

☔️☀️ Event is RAIN OR SHINE

✅ Citizens must show proof of in-town residency, such as a driver's license or a Town utility bill UNLESS they are strictly dropping off donations or recyclables.

✅ Residents unable to transport large items to the Park should hold those items until the Spring Curbside Clean-Up in May 2027.

🎃 Annual Truck-n-Treat Autoshow hosted by Cruise for KIDZ Autoshow
🚗 Sunday, October 25, 2026 - 9am to 3pm
🚙 Shafer Park - 37 Park Drive, Boonsboro

🎃 Come out to Shafer Park and spend the day. Enjoy all of the vehicles on display, great food from Keep It Smokin BBQ, J&M's Sweet Heat Relief and Glamourview Creamery, craft vendors and live music from The Cruisers. Everyone is welcome to dress up in your best Halloween costumes. Admission in FREE to the public 😄

👻 Time of the event is:
👽 9am -12pm is vehicle registration
🤡 9am - 3pm is show time

🍫 Please note: If handing out candy and treats please only bring individually wrapped store bought items... sorry no homemade treats allowed.

🏆 Awards will be given out at 2pm followed by a ticket auction and 50/50. Dash plates will be given to the first 200 show entry vehicles.

❤️ Proceeds from this years event will benefit No one Fights Alone Cancer Benefit

☔️ This show is open to all makes, models and years of vehicles.

🎸🎤 Join us this Sunday for our LAST CONCERT of our 2026 Summer Concert Series in Shafer Park as we welcome "Dogstreet Band"
📌 Sunday - October 4, 2026 - 4pm to 6pm
🎼 Concert in the Park - in the Gazebo at 37 Park Drive, Boonsboro, MD

"Dogstreet was founded by Lynn Routzahn, Lloyd Yavener and Mark Dorosh. Three long-time friends who have known each other in excess of 45 years. They added their friend Mike Heyser on Keys recently. With a combined 200 years of performing experience you can be certain they know what they are doing."

🎤 The Boonsboro Park Board hosts a variety of free concerts in Shafer Park throughout the Summer months.
🧺 Please feel free to bring a lawn chair and/or blanket.
🐶 Leashed dogs are welcome, as long as you clean-up after them.

🥫 Please bring non-perishable canned or boxed foods donations

Mr. Christmas_Community Outreach is pleased to announce their 5th Annual Turkey Trot 5K. See the map for the route, and look for the banner tent and signs.

This is a donation driven fun run/walk for all ages. The donation is non-perishable canned or boxed foods or a cash donations that supports the organizations mission.

The fun run/walk starts at 8:30am, so mark your calendars NOW and come on out and support!

No sign-ups, just come and enjoy the outdoor fun. WEAR YOUR FLAIR! Mr. Christmas Community Outreach is offering the opportunity for any and all families, teams, clubs, sports organizations, charitable causes to show off your costumes. We look forward to seeing all the wild and fun team Trot outfits but they are certainly not required.
