Learning, Leading and Making an Impact Across Indiana!

This September, Purdue Extension educators across Indiana helped prepare the next generation of nutrition professionals by mentoring Purdue University master's-level dietetic interns during their community nutrition rotations!

Interns completed 160 hours of hands-on experience, working alongside Extension educators to co-teach programs, deliver presentations, develop projects and gain valuable experience in community nutrition education.

In the Southwest Region, dietetic intern Lily Gogel worked alongside Purdue Extension Educator Jo to help facilitate Steps to a Healthy You, one of Purdue Extension's signature programs.

Through opportunities like these, Purdue Extension is helping future professionals build practical skills while supporting health and wellness education in communities across Indiana! 💛🖤

4-H enrollment will now open on November 1 for the 2026-2027 program year. (Instead of the usual date of October 1) As we prepare for the new year, we are taking additional time to ensure all systems and resources are ready to support a successful enrollment experience. Purdue Extension is excited to support another great year of 4-H programs in Indiana and looks forward to welcoming returning and new members alike. We appreciate your patience and understanding!
