Good evening Boonville families. This is Mrs. Calhoun calling with reminders for the week. This week is Red Ribbon Week and we will be celebrating staying drug free with a spirit week full of fun dress up days. Please check Facebook and Class Dojo for the theme for each day. On Wednesday our 1st, 3rd, and 5th graders will complete a vision and hearing screening with our school nurses. On Friday all students will participate in a Spooky Book Walk and we are in need of candy donations for this event. Please consider donating individually wrapped candy for this fun activity. PTA will be on campus volunteering for this event and distributing Boo Grams. Please reach out to our amazing PTA if you are interested in volunteering. That's all I have for this evening. I look forward to seeing you all on Monday morning!

Good evening Boonville families. This is Mrs. Calhoun calling with reminders for the upcoming week. The Boonville Fire Department will be on campus on Tuesday to talk to our students about fire safety. Also on Tuesday, Mrs. Wiltsie and Mrs. Golden's classes will take a field trip to The Farm. Please make sure all permission forms and payments have been turned in. Make-up pictures and picture retakes will be on Wednesday morning. Wednesday is also Unity Day. Please join us as we work to end bullying by wearing orange on this day. Looking ahead, we will be hosting a Spooky Story Walk during Encore on Friday, October 30th. We are in need of candy donations to be distributed to students on that day. Please send in 1 bag of individually wrapped candy to your child's teacher. PTA is also looking for volunteers to help es**rt classrooms for this event. If you would like to volunteer, please reach out to our PTA. Boo gram information was sent home last week. If you would like to order boo grams, please send those in by Wednesday. That's all of the information I have for tonight. I hope you all enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Our staff enjoyed a field trip on Thursday. We were able to fellowship together and have a little friendly competition with a team scavenger hunt. We also celebrated two staff members who are successfully battling cancer. Thank you to the PTA for sponsoring our trip and covering the cost of admission and lunch and to the staff of Alpha and Omega for having us.
