Constitution Week ❤️🤍💙🇺🇸 Members gathered early at 3:00 and rang bells at the newly updated marker on the court house lawn. 🔔

Then our chapter received a Proclamation from Boonville Mayor Wyatt. Our Proclamation started at bit early due to heat, therefore our Regent and First Vice Regent stayed until the start time of 3:30 to greet guests. Guests of honor were: Jamie Ginder Indiana DAR Constitution Week Chair, Jason Fisher Warrick County School Corporation Director of Learning, and Rebecca Shelton Captain Henry Vanderburgh Honorary Regent (Associate Member of Captain Jacob Warrick Chapter). Chapter members attending were Regent Miranda Kolley, Vice Regent Lisa Alexander, Second Vice Regent Susan Hansen, Registrar/Honorary Chapter Regent Brenda Black, member Erin Davis.

The Proclamation was then placed in the display case at the Boonville Public Library. Please stop in and check it out. 📃 Thank you to our Recording Secretary Nancy Heim for her hard work!

Our chapter also provided each Warrick County 8th grade student a pocket Constitution. Educational materials were also sent to educators along with our annual essay contest information for Warrick County students student. Thank you to member Cori Meunier for her hard work to provide these materials to the future of our country!

Help us make a difference along the Ohio River by joining your friends and neighbors for a morning of community service at the Town of Newburgh River Sweep!
