Today, members of Wentworth PD had the privilege of volunteering at the Special Olympics. It was an honor to celebrate the incredible athletes by presenting awards and recognizing their hard work, determination, and achievements. Their enthusiasm, perseverance, and sportsmanship were truly inspiring, and we are grateful to have been part of such a meaningful event. Congratulations to all of the participants—you reminded us all what it means to compete with heart.

Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Their courage, selflessness, and dedication to protecting the freedoms we hold dear will never be forgotten.
This Memorial Day, the Wentworth Police Department stands alongside our community in paying tribute to our fallen heroes and the families who carry their legacy every day.
May we always remember that freedom is never free.
🇺🇸 We honor. We remember. We thank you. 🇺🇸

During National Police Week, we pause to honor the courage, sacrifice, and dedication of the men and women in law enforcement who serve their communities every single day. We remember the officers who made the ultimate sacrifice and keep their families in our thoughts and prayers.
This week is not only about recognizing the badge, but also the commitment behind it — the long hours, the difficult calls, and the unwavering responsibility to protect and serve others. Thank you to all officers, dispatchers, support staff, and first responders for the work you do, often without recognition.
May we continue to support one another, strengthen our communities, and never forget those who gave their lives in the line of duty. 💙🖤

May is Mental Health Awareness Month ❤️💛
Taking care of your mental health is just as important as your physical health. Whether it’s getting enough rest, staying active, or simply checking in with someone, small steps can make a big difference.
Let this month be a reminder to support one another, reduce the stigma, and prioritize well-being—on and off campus.
If you or someone you know needs support, don’t hesitate to reach out. You are not alone.
