In 2025, JP invested over $97,000 in 529 accounts for JP kids, giving them the foundation for a brighter future.

Yesterday, we hosted our second annual Community Conversation at More than Words bookstore. This event featured a fireside chat between JP's CEO and President, Chastity Lord, JP Boston's Executive Director, Alison Carter Marlow, and Generation Hope's Founder and CEO, Nicole Lynn Lewis. Chastity, Alison, and Nicole discussed the complex challenges that student parents face. We are so grateful for the powerful experience!

Meet Rachael, our Family Services Director at JP Boston. In her role, she oversees programming designed to support and uplift single mothers pursuing higher education. Drawing on her background in mental health and social work, she leads with both strategy and heart, while also staying connected to the work through coaching and relationship-building. Rachael is passionate about this work because it mirrors her own journey of single motherhood, making each success story even more meaningful.
What she loves most about coaching:
Rachael enjoys coaching because she gets to witness moms set meaningful goals for themselves and their families—and then take real steps toward achieving them. She says, “there’s something powerful about supporting women as they build pathways toward stability, confidence, and long-term success.”
Words that inspire her:
“Start where you stand.” - A simple reminder that you don’t have to have everything figured out to begin. You just have to take the first step from where you are.

These are challenging times.
Through the stresses of rising gas prices, rent increases, and food costs that keep climbing, mothers are demonstrating an unwavering commitment to their children’s futures.
They’re refusing to let circumstances dictate possibility.
This Mother’s Day, honor the mothers in your life — and mothers everywhere — by investing in their possibility: https://jeremiahprogram.org/mygift

When moms win, families win - and communities win. That belief is part of the inspiration for the JP Legacy Award, which recognizes the children of JP alumni who are making an impact in their communities.
