Today's the last day to get your bids in for our online Voices Rising auction! Things have been heating up on this in the last few days, so make sure you hop in and get a bid in on your favorite item!

In addition to the getaways, dinners, and fun experiences throughout Boston, our auction features a few mission-aligned options. Consider making a donation to fund a JP child's 529 account, to help prepare the next generation for college enrollment. Consider being the supporter who offers emergency funds to a mom who needs a helping hand with utility bills, groceries, and rent. Consider covering the cost of childcare for a JP family for an entire semester, so that a mom can attend classes and know that her children are being well cared for. Consider how you can tie your legacy to our JP families.

Wow! What an incredible night at our 9th annual Voices Rising showcase! With more than 110 guests, sponsors, and partners in the room, we gathered to hear the beautiful stories and journeys of our honorees and moms.

From basketball courts to cooking with loved ones, last night powerfully underscored what it means to build your own legacy. We were reminded that a legacy is not just what you leave behind, but also what you are building for the generations yet to come.

To the team at Grace by Nia, our honorees, our volunteers, our sponsors, and most of all, to our JP moms: THANK YOU for making last night the spectacular event that it was. Our cup is full!

We have already raised nearly $100,000 and are so close to hitting our goal for this event. If you haven't already, please consider making a gift to support the work that JP does everyday to empower single moms to build their own legacies.

Last week, we hosted a Get Out The Vote Sisterhood hour on campus! Moms were joined by Boston City Councilors Ed Flynn and Ruthzee Louijeune and Massachusetts State Representative Russel Holmes. The night featured a round table discussion of all nine Massachusetts ballot questions and a voter registration check! It was a powerful evening of civic engagement ahead of our upcoming midterm elections.

Our JP Boston kids also flexed their civic engagement muscles and got to vote on their favorite summer activity, snack, ice cream flavor, and animal! The results are in: swimming, pretzels, vanilla, and dogs are the clear winners among of 2nd gen electorate!
