A successful reentry begins with stability, dignity, and opportunity.

🏡 Brie’s House has a new home! We’re excited to share that Brie’s House has officially moved to a new location, continuing our commitment to providing a safe, supportive environment for formerly incarcerated individuals rebuilding their lives.

A new space, but the same mission. 🔑

Big moment for us in Springfield, MA this past weekend as we officially launched the Fort Pleasant Project with a ribbon cutting ceremony! Alongside our Corepath Alliance partners, TradeCore and Youth In Crisis, we’re building a network centered on housing, workforce training, and real pathways for formerly-incarcerated individuals to thrive.

Thank you to WWLP-22 News for covering the launch, and special thanks to Springfield City Councilor Melvin Edwards and State Senator Adam Gomez for joining us and showing their support.

🚨JUSTICE 4 HOUSING ENDORSES QUESTION 3🚨 Justice 4 Housing

“Justice-impacted individuals and their community members are significantly more represented in general elections than in primaries. All-Party Primaries empower the broader November electorate-which is larger and includes many voters who do not participate in party primaries to have the decisive voice in choosing between the two candidates who advance to the general election.“

We are honored to have this endorsement from an organization fighting for the good of our communities. If you’d like to learn more about Question 3 head to yeson3ma.org today and be sure to make a plan to vote by November 3rd!

Last week, we were proud to join Massachusetts Law Reform Institute, the Reentry Health Community Cohort, and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts for a Service Day supporting people returning home from incarceration. BCBS volunteers packed Welcome Home Bags with essential items and resources, and we appreciated the chance to share lunch and uplift the work of the Reentry Health Community Cohort and the grassroots partners making reentry support possible every day.

Special shoutout to Isabel at MLRI for always standing with us, and thank you to the BCBS volunteers for showing up for our communities!

🏠🔑 SHARP Program Spotlight: Meet Antonio!

Today we’re highlighting SHARP program participant Antonio and celebrating his move-in milestone. Antonio spent a long time staying consistent and patient as he worked toward permanent housing. He first came through our transitional housing program as a temporary stepping stone, and once his voucher was in place, he transitioned into SHARP and moved into a home of his own.

We’re proud of you, Antonio, and honored to be part of your journey.

Our annual Back to School Backpack Giveaway was a success, and we’re grateful to share it with the Cambridge Housing Authority, a proud partner in this work. It was a joy to see families come out, connect, and make sure students head into the school year feeling prepared and supported. We also appreciate Old South Church in Boston for their generous backpack donations that helped support this giveaway.
