Had a great ime with the Navy future sailors competing in the firefighter fitness challenge at Moakley park. We wish them well as they prepare to ship off, thank them for their service, and will welcome them to the Boston FIre Department when they get home.

Civil Service has e-mailed the results from the Fire Alarm Exam. Applicants have until the 26th to challenge experience points. The results don't say much until the list is published which is expected shortly after the challenge period is closed. We will share the link to the list as soon as it is published.

Civil Service has announced the open exam for Boston Fire Alarm Operator. There is an additional $50 late fee for applications received after October 14th. Applications will NOT be accepted after October 20, 2014. To apply online please visit www.mass.gov/civilservice

Civil Service will soon announce the fire alarm operator exam, it will be administered in the spring of 2015. Announcements will be posted here.
