Yesterday, the US House of Representatives passed the SAVE Act, which threatens to disenfranchise millions of eligible voters. It is shameful and disappointing that 220 Representatives chose to support a bill that would exclude lawful voters from the democratic process.
We must stand up and fight back against this attempt to infringe upon voting rights for women, trans people, and other members of marginalized communities. It is essential that all citizens are able to make their voices heard and that voting is accessible to all.
The MWPC condemns this attempt to restrict voting rights, and calls for our Senators to block this bill. Find your member of Congress and contact information for their office at congress.gov/members/find-your-member
