Opportunity: SolSmart

At the recent November 3rd MAGIC Meeting, we heard about SolSmart.

Consider applying for SolSmart designation to encourage solar energy in your community.

SolSmart offers a new opportunity for communities to receive national recognition for their efforts to reduce the cost of solar and promote solar market maturity. By achieving SolSmart designation, municipal governments signal to the solar industry that they are open for solar business. The program offers no-cost technical assistance from a team of experienced national solar experts to help cities and counties nationwide accelerate their transition to clean, reliable solar energy and thereby qualify for designation. Communities may join the program and receive technical assistance on a rolling basis.
