To Clara, honoring fallen heroes is an everyday responsibility. As she runs the Boston Marathon this Monday, she’s driven to give back and rally her community. Every mile she runs and every dollar she raises is her way of supporting Gold Star Families, uplifting Veterans, and honoring those who gave everything. ⭐️

We can’t wait to cheer her on! Please click the link in bio to donate to her marathon 🔗 🇺🇸

Lee is running the Boston Marathon for Mass Fallen Heroes, because their sacrifices shaped the freedom so many take for granted. Supporting veterans is deeply personal to her, inspired by her grandfather’s service and the lasting impact she’s seen war leave behind.

Every mile she trains is driven by purpose: to honor the fallen, carry on her grandfather’s legacy, and stand beside veterans who still carry the weight of their service.

For Lee, this race is more than a challenge, it’s her way of saying their sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Introducing our next Boston Marathon Team member, Pat Dugan!

As a member of a Gold Star family who has been deeply connected with the organization, honoring the fallen is personal.

As a father of three, he is committed to teaching his children that freedom isn’t free. It comes at a cost, one his own family knows all too well. His brother-in-law, Michael Kelley, made the ultimate sacrifice, laying down his life in service to our country.

That is why he has chosen to run with the Mass Fallen Heroes platoon. Having seen firsthand the impact MFH has on the Gold Star community, he is dedicated to supporting its mission, not just for today, but for the future.

He runs to remember. Because as he’s been reminded over the years: “When a service member dies, they can die twice. The first is when they pass away. The second is when we stop saying their name.”

He is running to make sure that never happens, that Michael Kelley, and all fallen heroes, are never forgotten.

Please consider donating to Pat's 2026 Boston Marathon. Link is in the comments.
