To close off Volunteer Month, the Allies for Immigrants team wants to give a big shoutout to all of the ESOL tutors that share their time and energy with adult immigrants that are learning English! Language is social and we know that our students are thriving in the community with the support of our volunteers as classroom assistants, small group leaders and 1:1 tutors.

To our volunteers: thank you for your dedication and commitment! We hope this experience is as valuable to you as it is to our students and overall ESOL system in Boston!

If you know someone that can benefit from this volunteer opportunity or that wants to make an impact with immigrant communities, please share your experience with them and invite them to take part in our work. We look forward to continue elevating immigrant voices!

This past Wednesday, we honored outstanding volunteers, partners, and Boston Cares' 35th anniversary at the Global Volunteer Month & Awards Celebration. We are so grateful for all the volunteers and community members who celebrated our honorees and participated in a service project at the event. 💙💚
