Voting for Israel's 26th Knesset opened today at Israeli embassies and consulates worldwide, 12 days before Israelis head to the polls at home on October 27. 🗳️🇮🇱

Consul General Benjamin Sharoni, Deputy Consul General Liron Finkelstein, and other representatives of the State of Israel serving in New England cast their ballots here at the Consulate in Boston.

We Israelis have chosen our leaders at the ballot box since 1949, through every war and every crisis. 26 elections later, our democracy remains strong and vibrant.

Thank you to our election officers and consular staff for a smooth and secure day of voting. 👏

They stormed communities, murdered families in their homes, r***d, burned and kidnapped.

Three years on, Israel remembers the victims and the barbarity of Palestinian jihadist terrorism.
