We had an incredible day at BTV Pride on Sunday! Having the opportunity to walk with Democrats on a state, local and college level remind us why it is important to never stop organizing. Thank you Christine Hallquist for your historic leadership and continuing to fight for the issues that matter. It was exciting to walk with Senator Debbie Ingram, House Majority Leader Jill Krowinski and Representative John Killacky - their leadership on a state level motivates us to continue working on issues that effect people all over Vermont. It was lovely being joined by Burlington City Councilor Franklin Paulinho! And finally, thank you to Burlington City Councilor Adam Roof for celebrating Pride with us, the importance of local politics is often over looked but Adam’s constant willingness to fight for what matters reminds us why it’s all worth it.

Secretary Grace Viscito is working as an organizer for the Vermont Democratic Party this summer. Party reorganization is coming up this fall and Grace is working to ensure that the party has a strong and vibrant infrastructure across the state.

This summer is off to a busy start for CDVT Leadership! Deputy Executive Director Hannah King is interning with her District Representative! She is also working with the Bolton Democratic Town Committee to develop outreach plans to further Democratic youth engagement within her community. When Hannah isn’t in the office you’ll find her farm-sitting goats! @ Massachusetts State House
