The MassINC Polling Group conducted a survey of 800 Massachusetts voters, including an oversampling of 200 voters living in Gateway Cities: Brockton, Fall River, Fitchburg, Haverhill, Holyoke, Lawrence, Lowell, New Bedford, Pittsfield, Springfield, and Worcester. The margin of error is +/-4.4 percentage points. This poll took place from March 12, 2026 through March 17, 2026.
This poll explored public opinion on key issues affecting voters, including political preferences, transportation, voting behavior, and demographics. This poll was sponsored by the Massachusetts Voter Table (MVT) and Transportation for Massachusetts (T4MA), and was preceded by a focus group of lower-income voters in Boston and Gateway Cities on transportation and voting issues.
MVT has summarized key issues for our readers. This summary is taken from the MassINC Topline Polling Group report. Please find the full reports, provided by MassINC, at the bottom of this blog post.
