Yesterday, our Small Business Initiative hosted a Small Business Resource Forum, alongside the town of Stoughton and the Executive Office of Economic Development. It was a great opportunity to connect small business owners with resources and tools that can help them grow and maintain their business.

We had some special visitors this week! Take your child to work day was a great opportunity to show our favorite kiddos how the team here at Treasury helps people across Massachusetts!

Many states have made financial education a requirement for high schoolers, but Massachusetts is not one of them. Treasurer Goldberg has been advocating for years to integrate financial education concepts into high school coursework - now is the time to prepare our young people for their futures.

Video High school students get early start on financial literacy High school students nationwide are learning the basics of personal finance, from stocks to credit card debt.

The is accepting submissions for their annual My Ideal School contest! The contest is open to all first grade students attending a Massachusetts public school, to promote discussion about school design and 21st century learning. Applications close this Friday, May 1st.
