The City of Boston's Office of Veterans' Services' Annual PTSD Awareness Golf Tournament is taking place next month. The event will be hosted at the William J. Devine Golf Course located at 1 Circuit Drive, Dorchester, MA 02121 on June 22nd starting at 8:00 am. Registration is limited and they will have a waiting list, so they encourage all to register. This event is free to register and includes 18 holes (Balls and tees not included; clubs can be rented for $25).

Veterans: Flux Marine electric boats is offering free trips around Boston Harbor on Saturday, June 13th. Between 11am-4pm, you'll get 45-60 minutes on the water. Bring a pole to do some fishing or just enjoy the sights. Afterward, kick back at The Point downtown from 5-7pm with free BBQ from The Smoke Shop. Comment below if interested.

UMASS Boston and the William Joiner Institute are hosting this Edge4Vets jobs prep workshop on Tuesday, April 28, from 9:30am to 3pm at UMB’s Campus Center. See the attached flyer for details. Each year, a number of student veterans at Northeastern join their peers at other area institutions for this PGA Hope Clinic. I've seen vets with only a passing interest in a new hobby become big fans of getting out on the green. If you're interested, let them know ASAP.

Who: veterans, military currently enrolled in college

Brookline Golf Course, 1281 W Roxbury Pkwy, Chestnut Hill, MA 02467
Date, times: TBD
Cost: FREE and you do not need to own any golf clubs. Loaners will be provided if available!
Skill level: beginner to advanced, it doesn't matter!
Commitment: 6-8 sessions (one per week or bi-weekly), typically 1-2 hrs each
